My name is Chris, I’m just about to turn 50 and I have been working with kettlebells for about 5 years. I passed my RKC last year but am not a trainer and don’t pretend to be a fitness expert. However with 5 years experience under my belt I do know how to swing (snatch, TGU, clean, press etc) a kettlebell. The title of my blog comes from my local gym where I stand out because I’m a short woman (4ft 11ins) swinging some big weight.
This year I have been branching out and working with other forms of strength training. For the past 5 months I have been following the Naked Warrior body weight program, with mixed results, and am about to sign up with an IKFF trainer to work with other types of free weights. This blog is a record of my progress, the highs and the lows, as I get stronger and extend my skills.
